Kaspersky got a new reason to be in the news and this time it’s a good one. Kaspersky Lab on Tuesday announced that it was rolling out a free version of its antivirus software. The new free antivirus tool from Kaspersky is available globally.
The Kaspersky Lab with a global rollout plans in the next four months has launched a free version of your antivirus software. Kaspersky is called free, the software provides basic essential information including email and desktop antivirus protection, the ability to quarantine infected files, as well as automatic updates.
The free version lacks some premium features, which can be purchased for $ 50 per device, including additional security for the Variant Private Network (VPN), parental controls and online financial transactions. Casparsky claims that its free software option is light on advertising, although user data can be paid to random users by providing Kaspersky.
The Russian software company recently made headlines, as reports have given the Russian government a new look to suspicion about their possible relationships. The company has denied these claims, which are largely dissatisfied, but it is not enough to get back the approved software vendors’ federal lists.
